East Rockingham Senior Center: ERSC Attended Rockingham Co. Fair

A group of 12 ERSC members, six volunteers and three employees spent several hours at the Rockingham County Fair on August 16. Several from our group enjoyed free Ferris-wheel and carousel rides (as shown in the photo taken by Joshua Gooden, volunteer), in addition to our free admission on “Senior Day” at the fair.

We enjoyed music under the tent, walking through the exhibit buildings where we were able to view lots of crafts and photos, having our blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels checked, and eating a variety of food available from the variety of food vendors.

It was also good to see our friends from other Centers, including Timberville, Price Rotary and Staunton.
